The Iterative Librarian collaborates with libraries navigating today’s complex challenges. Grounded in critical librarianship, critical pedagogy, and design thinking, I work alongside libraries to strengthen organizational sustainability and effectiveness through reflective practice, collaborative learning, and thorough needs analysis.

My approach helps institutions identify and address the gaps between stated mission and operational realities. Together, we develop transparent organizational relationships and adaptive systems that respond to changing community needs and internal capacity. I design custom resources—from learning experiences and presentations to organizational frameworks—that support libraries in doing their work more effectively.

Throughout all collaborations, I champion advocacy, openness, and intellectual freedom for all people. I believe libraries can be more sustainable, equitable, and impactful when they engage in honest self-reflection and embrace iterative improvement.
